The presentation of the scholarships will take place at the Credit Union&#8217;s Annual General Meeting each year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Completed applications for all candidates, using the attached documentation are to be submitted to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>The Calgary Police Credit Union Ltd.<\/strong><br \/>\n5111 &#8211; 47 Street N.E.<br \/>\nCalgary, AB, T3J 3R2<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Important Note:<\/strong> <\/span>Applications must be received by the Credit Union no later than November 30 each year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"su-divider su-divider-style-dotted\" style=\"margin:15px 0;border-width:3px;border-color:#000000\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-row\"><div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-2\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<h1>Eligibility<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Credit Union Membership:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> <strong>All children\/applicants must be a member in good standing of the Calgary Police Credit Union.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> All candidates must be enrolled in school or at a post secondary institution. Proof of enrollment may be required. Full time students only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria:<a href=\"http:\/\/localhost\/mysite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/squad.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Candidates will have the opportunity to be eligible for selection on a yearly basis and may apply each year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Submissions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> ECS (not pre-school) candidates must submit a work of art depicting how they have acted as a leader and how it made them feel.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Grade 1-3 candidates must submit an essay of 50 words or less describing a time they demonstrated leadership and how it made them feel.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Grade 4-6 candidates must submit an essay of 100 words or less describing a time they demonstrated leadership and how it made them feel.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Grade 7-9 candidates must submit an essay of at least 150 words describing a time they demonstrated leadership attributes at school, at home or as a member of your community.\u00a0 What was the outcome and how it made them feel to act as a leader.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Grade 10-12 candidates must submit an essay of at least 250 words describing a time they demonstrated leadership attributes at school, at home or as a member of your community.\u00a0 What was the outcome and how it made them feel to act as a leader.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> Post secondary candidates must submit an essay of a least 500 words describing a time they demonstrated leadership attributes at school, at home or as a member of your community.\u00a0 What was the outcome and how it made them feel to act as a leader.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> <strong>All <\/strong>candidates must include, on the back of their submissions their full name, name of the school they are attending and the grade they are enrolled in, along with their account number with Calgary Police Credit Union.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Selection Decision:<a href=\"http:\/\/localhost\/mysite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/motorcycles.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-graduation-cap\" style=\"color:#333\"><\/i> A selection committee comprised of members of the Credit Union Board of Directors and the Credit Union Manager will make the selection of the successful candidates. The decision of the selection committee will be final. Applications and accompanying documentation will not be returned to the applicants and become the property of the Credit Union.
